Don't try and launch above 1k(w/stock converter), turn of the TC (and AC) I think 1/4 tank of gas is about what you want. Unlike my dumb ass that had 3/4+.

At about 80mph tap the shifter down to hold it in M3 so it won't shift into 4th right before the traps.

Air up front tires to about 45-50psi to decrease rolling resistance.

As said by Devilish, race with the 1/8-1/4 tank of fuel. I keep it at the point to where the low fuel light just comes on. Adding fuel throughout the night, but not too much.
