Many things could be wrong.

Did you get a ECM and TCM tune? Did you go to a "name" tuner or a small shop? Do they have experience with the GM A6 trans?

What is 2rpms? 2000? With a stock converter?

Slower time with same trap speed... sounds like a traction issue to me...

^ what he said? How can you load a 1700 stock stall up to 2000rpms?

Hell...your probably spinning the hell outta the tires.....I launch off idle...1.9 60' everytime...

my 60ft was 2.2056 stock was 2.0. whats a ECM and a TCM.. but i think it was a ECM and it was a name place "henderson performance". and yes 2 is 2000rpms and yes a stock converter...
well i ran it two times and no spin at all

i got JBA short headers, aFe cold air intake and magnaflow exhaust systems

ECM is engine control and TCM is transmission control.

It's going to be very hard to launch a stock stalled car at 2000rpm, the tires should be spinning at that rpm.

Do you know what the Torque Management was set at?

A 2.20 60' is horrendous.

Did they dyno the car?

No shit.....with drag radials....I tried to stall it up real high...at 1500....the brakes couldn't hold and I ran thru the lights....

horrendous? what are you running? my dashhawk says 2.23 60' time but it still makes the qtr mile in 12.8. What's a good 60' time?

i found this out becouse if you keep traction control on it wont go over 2000rpms...so that as high as you can get it with no spin

I can get 1.7s on drag radials, but I have a 3200 stall converter.

1.9s on street tires are what you should be shooting for.

so a stall converter will shave 3 tenths of a second off my time on street tyres? maybe if i install the udp that'd help too. other than that our set up difference is just suspension.

my next mod was either going to be SLP axle backs or a fasterproms port.

The time in my sig is a link to the thread about my runs that day.

Tthe suspension was stock then and I had a Roto Fab.

Also, the DH is a good tool, but it's not perfect.

Get to the strip and get a few slips.

I highly recommend the TC for the G8.
