After a minor run in with a piece of road debris I decided rather than putting the Pontiac kidneys back on I was going to do something a little different!
Since MGM (18U) isn't an SSV factory color I am pretty sure this is the first and only one! Of course there is still a lot to do to finish the transformation but here are some shots of the before and now!
The car officially will be done tommorow, hence the really dirty shots at the end. I just couldn't wait!

Looks good, I love the taillights did the same body shop do all the work? I would probably go the same route if I needed to replace the front. (accident, etc.)

Rims look great too, I have some parts on order from Crazy Paul to do the same. You have confirmed I like the look of the silver centers.

Nice; real nice.

If I had the $$ I'd consider something similar ... but the wife is already a bit pi$$ed at me for the mods so far... so I've been "cut off" for a while. :hang:

Oh well, such is life, right?

:)

Great job -- it proves that your body shop really knows their stuff, as it turned out perfect on such a unique job like that.

PS -- this time DON'T CURB IT AND BLAME IT ON ROAD DEBRIS ... !!! ehehehe
Keep that holden front end looking perfect...

Looks awesome Tony! Gotta get that spoiler sometime when you get some more cash :P

Can't wait to see it in person. You gonna put the rest of the badges on or just stay with the holden badges? IMO, the V8 6.0 litre badges are a MUST!!

I cant wait till you get the magnaflows installed, i think ur gonna love em! I'm assuming thats what your last little mod is ;)

Looks awesome! What did you use to tint the taillights and side markers? Window tint? Krylon fusion?

Never really been a fan of that, until now. REALLY looks good on that color!

I like the tinted tails, and it appears you did the side markers too.

That looks really good, they did a great job with the conversion. Did the body shop cut the hood?

It looks like the tail lights are sprayed with a black tinted clear, my friend did mine the same way. He's an auto body guy and has an exchange program if you're interested. Here's a picture of mine:

Yes, sometime in the next few months!

I will be adding the V8 6.0 Badges today. Not sure about the Flag V and SS on the trunk. I think it looks really good the way it is.

Got them installed yesterday! I picked it up this morning and it sounds good. I am not sure if it is exactly the sound I am looking for. I just went axle back, so I might remove a resonator soon.

The hood is from JHP, no cutting! The front end comes as an entire kit, everything you need.

You are right on the tails, reflectors, and the quarter panel lights, sprayed with black (or gray maybe, I don't know exactly), then cleared.

It is a completely new Holden hood.

It is a completely new Holden hood.

Not sure if that was a statement or question, either way, correct, brand new hood!

Statement, I was answering someone else's question. :)
