Those are badass and I've seen them on a liquid red G8. I was going to get those until I found my GTS HSVs.Here is the guys link:http://g8gt.gtxgp.com/

Beautiful! I was about 10 seconds from getting my wallet out and ordering them last night in the same size you listed. Just need to figure out what tires I want that's why I didn't order yet.

Me too! Weird.

Seems like tires should be 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. I need to call either VQ motoring or Discount tire to get solid quotes on everything needed (I still want the TPMS to work) including centering rings. Is it okay to mix and match different series of tire? I know the tire height is close, but I've never had a staggered setup before. Just want to do it right the first time.

Yeah I know a couple guys have been able to go with a 285/35/19 in the rear, and if that was the case that is what I would go with. They are on Ebay for 195 + 29.42 shipping, and that's the cheapest I have found around.

Yeah I was looking at the tire sizes and comparing sidewall heights. Looks like a 245/40/19 is slightly taller than my current OE 245/45/18, and the 275/35/19 is slightly shorter than OE, where the 285/35/19 is slightly taller than OE and closer to the front replacement.

Sizes and heights:

OE 245/45R18 26.68 in

245/40R19 26.71 in

275/35R19 26.57 in

285/35R19 26.85 in

Not really concerned with the difference between 18 and 19 (only .03 in). I'm more concerned with the difference between front and rear of the new tires. With the 275 on the rear, there is a difference front/rear of .16 in., where the 285 has a difference of .14 in.. Do these measurements cause any problems with the way the car drives or the ABS sensors? Also, I don't plan on lowering my car at all, so I was hoping to fit the 285 since it will help fill the wheel well. Has anyone fit a 285/35/19 rear on our car with +45 offset stock height without issue?

Since the G8 is pretty close to neutral weight distribution, why go staggered? Not trying to stir the pot, it just seems I see more and more guys wanting to go staggered on the board.

I need as much weight in the rear since my fat ass is in the front, haha! I am mostly doing it for the wider rear tire and the difference in lip between the 19x8 and the 19x9.5 in the rear.

Cause it's looks cool..I just put my CCW's on last week and will post some pics once I get it lowered and all done. Looks a lot more like a muscle car I guess..

Mostly to enhance the stance and look. The extra traction on the drive wheels can't hurt either.:headbang:

I see in your sig you have the 285/35/19. Any problems with them rubbing and what is your wheels offset?

No problems rubbing at all. The offset is 47mm in the rear and 41mm in the front.

Got them in today. The rears with that fat, shiny lip looks really good and the 285 rear tire hasn't rubbed at all (yet?). What a difference in the way the car drives! These wheels must be a tad lighter than OE. The whole car feels lighter and more responsive. But then again, I went from 18" OE wheels with Blizzak winter tires to 19" with Nitto Invo summer tires.

Will put up better pics tomorrow.
