Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!

Today I did my first Car Club Challenge, and I rocked! Here was my first time trial:

R/T: .394
60': 2.03
1/8th: 8.79
1/4th: 13.502
MPH: 105.63|

That was pretty average, I guess. 13.5 is what my stock times were.

However, on my 2nd time trial - I got a 13.303! In addition, I finally got a 1.98 60'!

Third time trial was my best to date. My husband has the time slip and he's on his way home, so I will post the particulars within an hour or so. I had an R/T of .078, a 60' of 1.947, and a 1/4th of 13.295!!

I'm totally amazed with myself. On my first elimination I ran a dial-in of 13.30, and hit it with a 13.304. I red lighted on my second round, but did pull a 13.29 again. I even forgot to put it in sport mode. I did find that the "tapping the gearshift to hold 3rd gear" won't work for me much longer - the tranny wants to shift around 105MPH, and the car is screaming "OH GOD TOO FAST CHANGE GEARS" right as I cross the trap. I'm thinking of leaving it in sport next test and tune and finding out if it makes THAT much of a difference. This car is consistantly running 13.3/2 now, and it's awesome. I haven't had another 2.XX 60' either. I wonder if anyone is looking to sponsor a girl in a G8 GT...:auto:

Very nice times. I hope the weather holds for me to try and get a new best after my tune arrives.

Man, that's impressive, what's the density altitude??? Some of these "select" cars have had testing at GM, and are not the same as the others from what I have heard, I'd be willing to bet you have one of these.

I will need to look up a DA calculator to find that out. I'm very impressed with myself and the car.

Great times. I look forward to seeing the improvements a tune will bring. Might also help hold 3rd across the line.
As for the "Queen" part, I would suggest that the title of "Queen" would go to one who could take part in a celebratory brew legally.:drunk2:
Perhaps the title of "Princess" would be appropriate for the next few months:nah:

jk.
Good numbers, congrats!
