I must say, I'm a little disappointed in the numbers but, like everyone says, the dyno is just for tuning. I haven't had a chance to really run the hell out of it due to traffic. I hope to get a few runs in in the next day or so. Anyway, here is the graph.

It has more in it. Did they check it on the street to check A/F over 50 to WOT to make sure the tune is good in real world conditions?

I don't think it's bad at all for your mods. I thought that's around what was expected?

Honestly, I was hoping for around 415 to 425. But I might have been too optimistic. Either way, it's faster and it runs better than it did.

1 7/8 theres your loss...unless your running a big head/cam or SC. I lost 15rwhp going from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 on the same dyno and same condition on my LS2 GTO. You'll see the big gain from the larger headers with the addition of above said mods.

Well you did make a lot of power with 1 3/4s and you are running a 12.3 with stock drive line and stock tires.

Maybe you should keep the 1 3/4s with the Stage 1 cam. Regardless you are running amazing times.

But honestly I am trying to learn more about where the fine line is between staying 1 3/4s or going 1 7/8s.

Like Paul said, this debate can go on forever. The 1 3/4 makes their power down low, and the 1 7/8 makes their's up top.

The 1 7/8 didnt cost him any power on a 376 cu in motor if they dont cost any power on a 364.

i dunno... i added 1 7/8 to my car and dropped from a 13.48 to a 13.12... and trapped from a 102 to a 106mph.. i dont think 1 3/4 would have netted me any more

Thats great, however with Dayton, Ohio being GTO capital of the East, at I as well as 2 other 1 7/8's have proved over and over on different dyno's that we put out less RWHP than the guys who are running 1 3/4's...that is until we showed a cam car making more with 1 7/8's.

Debate as you will, but we have our proof.

Now onto the butt-o-meter test. I finally got to run my car somewhat hard this morning and it feels faster. Second and third gear feels like they pulls stronger. I didn't have enough room to run into fourth. Regardless of what is posted on the sheet I'm happy with my car. Now I'm saving for some sort of power adder that will stop the harassment of some unnamed red G8 driver....cough...Charlie....cough....

Thats not with L92 heads or L76/LS3 intake though.
