Depends on the rim width. I would start at 18. The reason I say this is you REALLY need to make a pass so you can FEEL the tires. They are not like DRs. I am running 18 on the street with mine and it still has quite a bit of sidewall flex, but they are supposed to.

Depending on this damn Texas wether we may know tomorrow. They forcast no rain last night and it damn near flooded last night at my house so I couldnt take the car out to log or tweak anything. Hopefully I will be able to do this tonight so I can go tomorrow.......if it doesnt rain. But to answer your question, yes the car is in the 11s for sure.

Rim width is 9.5. Wonder if taking a quick blast down the road will be ok to get a feel for the tire. I don't want anything bad happening at the track.

Thats what I run also. I would. I have been doing that for about 250 miles and feel 100% comfortable driving with them and the runners. DO NOT screw around changing lanes. Watch for wet spots in the road etc.

When I had my 79 Malibu prostreet we went to Street Machine Nats. in Illinois. I had the MT Sportsman tires, about 14 inches wide. We got into a down pour going back to the Motel, there were three of us, prostreet hemi cuda, 67 nova prostreet. We all had basically the same setup, big motors with back halfed tubbed and wheelie bars. I was leading the pack and we were probably running about 60mph on this two lane road and it was cloudy and windy and all the sudden a down pour came. I looked back in my mirror turned back to look forward and it was raining so hard the next thing I knew were all sideways in the road. It was like you see on tv when people are running on icy roads, it was like it was rehearsed. To say the least it scared the fuck out of all of us. We got back to the motel and changed our shorts and drank a bunch of beer. I was just relating to your tires, no water except in the burn out box. Period.

Good story, glad you guys made it back! I won't be using these to daily drive on but i will be testing them out before the track and then at the track ill make a couple of passes to get a feel for them. If all goes well then its time for the 11s.

Although i now my car is going to be out of commision for a while, with the gasket leak and getting the driver side door replaced due to some jackass hitting me today in the parking lot.
