For Sale: uncut folding key

I bought this as a spare and my dealer can't / won't cut it for me - so it is up for sale.

This is the folding key portion of the fob - the portion with the folding button on one side and the Pontiac emblem on the other - without the remote control button portion.

Price $25 - shipped anywhere free. First Pay Pal gets it - PM me for address.

Hi There:
I am interested but am confused on what part is available. Does the key fob not come with the remote control buttons?
Thanks in advance for you answer!

The key is actually 2 sections - the remote control buttons section and the flip key section. The part number for a "flip style" cut key from GM is 89027333 it cost $44.21 from the dealer. The FOB 1/2 part # is 92201609 and The dealers want over $130.

I am selling the flip style uncut key.

Seems like a buyer might run into this problem too...

Shouldn't as long as you kept track of your security tag...

I don't see how you got an uncut key blank. I was going to buy a key and fob from Monster Parts Online, and the guy told me the key comes precut to fit my car. I ended up getting one for free from the dealer that sold me my car, and when I opened the box it was precut. All I had to do was program the key and the fob using the procedure in the owners manual.

The keys are side milled on both sides. This requires a fairly unavailable to the average person machine, thus the valet dude at the casino parking lot can't run out and have a copy made while you loose your ass playing craps.:p

I know they are milled, I'm a tool & die maker. But they should come precut from GM, that's what the parts guy told me at Monster Parts.

Thanks again;) Given how the keys "feel", a spare never hurts. And I just love the flipkey.

Now, as for if I can get it cut...hmm.
