Just ordered mine as well. I already have my Vararam though. The confirmation email said it won't ship until May 1st. Oh well, at least I'll do a little better on my finals since I won't have a more sweet ass ride to distract me lol.

Did you call Vararam to find out if it shipped? I PM'd them my CC and address info the other day, but have not been notified of it shipping yet. We are both on the same group buy list and it's still green. Red would inidcate it has been shipped.

I have a tracking number for my Vararam, it went out the same day when I talked to Steve. My VMS tune/powerflash cable says it will ship the 24th of this month.

Cool, maybe I need to call and get a tracking number. My VMS powerflash cable is also supposed to ship on 4/23-4/24. :thumbsup:

The 24th is what I thought, but then I had an email stating May 1 ship date for the cables.

They'll email it automatically when they ship. Mine gets here on Tuesday! :)

Well, a few days late on my update -- but the Vararam has been in for a week or so now. I am liking it very much. Seat of the pants feels good, and the sound is really a +.

I received my VMS Powerflash cable and CD earlier today -- got everything working right quickly and got the stock ECM/TCM tunes copied from my car and sent off to Vector. Hopefully I'll get my tune tomorrow.

Asked for -- 91 Octane Vararam tune, 40% Normal/20% Sport/10% Manual TM. I can't wait.

The VMS ECM/TCM tune along with the CAI intake and HRSK made a new car out of mine, much more responsive and much quicker. I can get 2nd gear rubber at half throttle with Stability Control still on. It's actually a little dangerous and thats want you want in a real motor head car, you have to respect it more now. It's constant temptation to just go wahhhh!!!!!! :poof::poof::poof::poof:

That's good to hear since I order the VMS tune and will have headers soon. What tq managment numbers did you go with?

VMS tunes are loaded.

Should I disconnect the battery to start a relearn, or did loading new maps do that for me?

Anyhow -- drove it back to work today and it's a lot of fun! :headbang:

No need to disconnect the battery. These new E38 ECM's relearn within a few miles.
