I just got it lined up to be the R&R car for STS! Who would be intrested in this kit after production? They may do a single and a twin kit. Of course the single would be more cost friendly. Post up if intrested and I am going to forward the thread to STS. They didnt think the G8 crowd was really intrested in going the boosted route lets prove them wrong LOL.

Thanks Scotty

I would be interested depending on the price. There is definately plenty of room at the back for twins where the stock mufflers are mounted.

Who are you? We have a vendor who is a STS dristributor. So, again, who are you?

I was just asking who would be intrested so STS can see if there is much intrest and for what kit the intrest is in . I am not a vendor nor am I trying to sell STS kits. Just want some input.

Thanks Scotty

If its the same price as the APS or GEN TT then I wouldn't buy a STS....

I am Scotty from CNC but I am not an sts dealer and am not trying to sale anything! Anyways all I do at CNC is installs and tunes I have no control over parts. No one on here would have even known that had you not brought it up because I never advertised.

there must be more to this story....

Scoop on that TBSS: STS did not have their test truck blow up on the dyno. Somebody put on one of the universal kits at a dealership near STS and then ran the truck before proper tuning was performed. Before it was tuned the damage was done (although there is also a chance the damage was there before the kit was installed) and after final tuning the engine let go.

Hehe more than one I think 2-3 people at that point had that issue LOL

As I have REPEATEDLY stated: having had the first turbocharged LS2 in the country w/ an STS on the GTO, I wouldn't go that route again. Solve the heat loss between manifolds and turbo and it would be a different story. You cannot alter the physics of the situation, though, and that is the drawback. The issue of the back pressure on stock cats has been raised by others, but I don't have the data to argue that point.

heh, I am not even going to mention my engine failure from a Faulty oil return pump.....oh wait, I just did.

Is it just me or does it seem like the STS kits can produce numbers but no real times? I've yet to see more than a few vehicles equipped w their systems that have ET's even close to what they should have for the numbers they advertise... As MtbDoc said, you cannot alter the physics of the system... If you want a turbo kit thats effective, leave them up front where they can do their job. We had a local guy w/ an STS kit on a 01 SS who claimed all this power and had the sheets to prove it; but he NEVER won a single race whther it be from a roll or a dig

Obviously the STS has had its share of problems, but all kits have. I'm gonna kill this before it gets ugly.
