Sure you can. The previous owner, only must have re-loaded his stock file back to his own car.

I just have to return the stock tune into the car and it will unlock it, it's made to be used on multiple cars, the only catch is you can only use it on one vehicle at a time. So only 1 of the many vehicles can have the tune installed.
