I Blame this on all of you

I promised myself I wouldn't feel the need to mod this car since I was purchasing the GXP. However, one cannot surf this forum without catching the bug. Thanks to you I am yet again diving into a modification mode with this car. It started with a K&N drop in filter, then skip shift eliminator, then catch can. Now i'm getting a yella-terra intake tube, plus getting a full catback done by a guy who races and has his own shop. Went there this past friday and he had all the guys in the shop looking at the car. He's just as pumped to work on it as I am to have it done. When I feel the scorn of the wife, I'm 220lbs 4.9% bf, she's 110 lbs soaking wet, and I still run for cover when she's mad, I'm pointing her in your direction...hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn for modding...

You should go with the Long Tube Headers, instead of a cat back..... :)

that's where I get in trouble, you see I control the finances and make all the payments, she teaches, I work for a bank. She usually doesn't find out about my mods until after they've been purchased and installed. Then she's madder than a hornet...and she :poof:

BTW, headers and some sort of forced induction are definitely being considered, probably headers first...

Tell her the parts weren't ordered, they just showed up. I accidently sent a set of headers to a guy I had sold an axleback to the week before. "She" received them and was not happy. I sent an email apologizing, apparently the damage was done hahaha

I didn't tell my wife I was buying a G8, I just showed up at home with it....
I have her convinced that the car has to go to Livernois for a "tune" to increase the gas mileage in the near future....
It's not my fault if they happen to accidently install a cam/headers/converter, etc....while they have it. :spank:
