intake cover still installed. Took some time but I was able to trim, repaint, and apply new graphics to my engine covers. Overall looks damn amazing over the stock cover!

And I'll be buying the heater hose relocation kit soon so I can get rid of the offensive hosing i that's in the way.

Looks good. Now you just need the heater hoses re-located.

I thought you were able to tuck the heater hose under the passenger side cover after trimming it a bit. Could of sworn it was somewhere around here....

Found it...ck it out... http://forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=1201

Edit: Maybe you would have to take off the intake cover though...

Yep, I would have to take the intake cover off in order to tuck it in, but I was not really in the mood to go and remove it. So I went this route and I'll be buying the re-location kit in about a month or so. I ended up deciding on painting the covers closer to a magnetic gray metallic so it would match my front, rear, and rims arrow head overlays.

Just be careful with the hoses laying on top. I have the same set up and layed the hoses on the side like you did and the heat from them burned into the cover and now I have a little black mark. Just after this I cut the covers and tucked in the hoses. Just FYI.

1st pick is before and 2nd is after.

Did you paint the 6.0 and V8 lettering or are those decals that can be ordered?

They are graphic overlays from grafxWerks.com, but they do fit perfectly.

As far as the heater hoses being tucked in I could not since I did not remove the intake cover for these. I've been running these with them on there for over a month with no issues and I finally got around to appling the overlays and paint.

The overlays turned out great - do you mind if I use those pictures on the site?

Cheers!

I have the same one: Ebay. Search "g8 oil cap".

What is the diameter of the depression on the G8 oil cap? I'd love to do up a few cool LiquiDome caps for it - perhaps Mobil 1 only, etc.

Thanks!

Looks nice! WAY better than stock. But, with your covers, just like mine, the dam power steering reservoir looks kinda ugly just hanging out there. I have been trying to think what to do to make it look better. Anyone do anything to theirs? Can it be painted? Maybe some aluminum casing to go around it.

I have the same oil cap too, very nice. Supposedly, the guy who makes them is working on a billet aluminum cap for the PS reservoir too. That would look sweet.

Any ideas to doctor up that PS box?
