My first kill in a few months was a Jap spec Toyota Soarer with a 1JZ, stock they came with 280HP, but the guy said he had exhaust, down pipe, boost controller. Anyways we went off the light he got a bit of a jump because it downshifted on me, but once I got going I reeled him in, we shut it down at about 100KPH because of a turn. We then merdged on to the highway and went from a 90KPH roll with the same result about 2 cars by 140.

When we got to the next light he rolled down his window (RHD so that was convenent) and asked what the hell I was driving and what was under the hood.

LOL I love this car!

Good kill.

I give that guy props for having such a unique car. Those things weigh like 47lbs, lol.

Nice kill.

There are a ton of RHD Japanese cars around here. I don't know why. 99% of them look like they will fall apart at the first pothole. Pretty much all of them are riced out.

IIRC those are sold as a Lexus down here but I'm not sure if it is with that engine.

Yeah thats what I thought it was at first until I saw the driver on the wrong side.

Nice, Jordie. Where abouts were you?

Where I am it's all Miatas and S2000s, and those get boring pretty quickly. Had some fun with a 5 series a few weeks ago, but that's about it...

Island Highway then we merged on to the #1 into Victoria.

Soarers are indeed also sold as a Lexus.
Usually come in either a 1UZFE 4.0Litre quad cam V8 or a 1JZGTE 2.5litre I6 TT.
They look just as delabidated in Australia too.
But they sure can go hard as hell.
BTW the 280HP is the "maximum" reportable JDM power rating. Was a gentlemans agreement between the Japanese manufacturers and their Government. Total fantasy land.
