XM Radio Glitch- Anyone else?

While trying to re-subscribe to XM after the 3 month free period, I was unable to get to the "0" channel for the radio ID number. In fact, the only channel available was the weather channel. Went by the dealer thinking it was just a matter of having them push the right button, but I was told that it was the 2nd G-8 to come in today with the same problem and it would take 2 hours (!) for them to re-program and fix. Anyone else have this happen? Is there a DIY fix?

Turning off the XM category in setup wouldn't fix it?

no diy fix has to be reprogramed and set-up

I just extended my subscription today,I didn't have the ID # with me,I just gave her the vin# and they have all the info and updated my account,she also gave me the ID # for the radio.:)

I really like it because all the local stations around here are all commercials all the time.And I have heard all my cd's hundreds of times.:devil:

Well some of Sirius XM's channels are becoming wall to wall commercials too, this combining the two definitely hasn't been a good. The programming is starting to suck and sound just like regular radio.

I've seen this on a ton of cars, turn of XM Catagories, works fine after that.

Well, back from the dealer--the tech couldn't get it off of channel 247 (weather) either. He "gave it a jolt", and now it seems to be working. XM is updating now, we will see if that's the end of it...
