View Full Version : Quieter with more flow?

I know it may be a contradiction but I really want to improve the exhaust flow on my car but try to keep it pretty quiet when cruising etc. It can be a bit louder than the stock exhaust. But I like it relatively quiet.

Is there a way to do this? What would I need?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes!

I second this. The sound at WOT is perfect inside the car. The sound cruising around town is almost stock.

Tell Mike to do an air kit, ARH and tune. You will smile all the way home! He has a package deal on T-stat, pulley and air intake. I dont know whats in the budget, but that headers and tune is low 13s high 12s all day long!

Sounds good, I have a Roto-Fab CAI on it already. I just have to find the time to be without the car..Maybe a rental will do. I'm a 50% owner in a IT business and I'm running around all the time.

I've been bitten by the FAST bug and I need some medicine!

I know this is the wrong section, but what about an underdrive pulley? Its good for 5-7 hp right?

The only concern I would have about it would be the air conditioning. Does it work worse? My car is black AC has to work in the summer...

I'm making a list. Thanks.

A cheaper alternative would be to go with MagnaFlows quiet system. Heck there standard system isn't that loud so the quiet would be perfect.

Hey Charlie, do you use the stock muffs AND resonators? Is there an X-pipe in there somewhere as well?
