View Full Version : My PSM G8 GT 35% Tint

Well I don't have nearly the mods most you guys do on here, so I don't want to bore anyone with these pics but I did get a 35% all around and installed a catch can.

For my catch can, I got the black one from Jamesbiz along with his fittings and tubes. I wanted an all black look like the other guys have done with the black braided hoses and black fittings, but didn't want to spend the $90 extra bucks, so I sanded and painted the brass fittings with 500 degree engine low gloss black.

Just got my car back from Zeibart to get the Renew Shine. Yes the car is new, but the dealer did a piss poor job washing it and there were swirls in the clear coat. Zeibart did a pretty good job on getting them out with just a plain wax. There were more expensive options I could of done that they said would get the swirls out, but I said just give the wax a go.

I can't speak for the others on this forum, but I never get tired of looking at pics of our cars, stock or not, so post away lol.

^^Agreed^^ No such thing as overkill on pictures. I enjoy looking at every members cars.

This makes me VERY happy, as I am picking up my car tonight after getting tinted with 35%. I was worried it would be too dark, but this looks perfect. Fuggin WOOT!!!

I am really happy with 35%. I had it on my past car, a G6, but that car had a sunroof and a gray roof liner. With the entire interior of the G8 being black and no sunroof it makes it look even darker, and it is still only partially illegal in VA (just the front windows). Of course there are times it looks dark and times it doesn't, but I like the 35%

DAMN! That's just about perfect! Maybe Charlie is right (highly unlikely!) and red is a tiny bit faster, but I still think that PSM is the most beautiful of all the Holden spawn.:p

I am surprised at how much better I like my new HOLDEN PSM.

Are you completely Holden already?? Hood, front fascia, everything??? Cant have any darts on that bad boy if you are going to call it a Holden now...:)

I like the look of the G8 from all angles, so no body changes, I HOPE! http://forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=3787&highlight=penguinmobile

Not an arrowhead to be seen. Holden Lion badges on trunk with Holden V badge replacing "Pontiac". Holden Lion on wheel caps. Nothing visible on the outside of the car with any hint of Pontiac or GM. I am hoping that one of the badges on order from Crazy Paul will replace the steering wheel center badge. I've driven Pontiacs in one version or another for a long time (1965 GTO coupe) and I love 'em. But all you have to do is look at the window sticker, lower right corner, to know that this is a Holden. And it's fantastic! :p

It can be mistaken for legal and really it just looks good. :)

I plan on getting mine tinted soon.
