I leave all hose kits long so they will clear any cover set ups you have. You can trim excess for perfect fit.

I really wonder why GM didn't just use those covers anyway... Seems weird reinventing the wheel.

you have to cut that opening for the hoses if you want them to fit the G8 hoses. They come like this:

Thanks Tom/Brian. I told you I hate to wait for stuff so I send it Priority because the boxes are exactly what I wanted. If I hate waiting then you never will.

My experience shows that Priority Mail is overall the best way to send things. It's far less expensive that UPS 2 day or any comparable service, arrive in 2-3 days and has proven very reliable for me. I've used it hundreds, if not thousands, of times and never had a package lost.
