Just got back from the track

Firebird in Boise opened today for TT only, so decided to go and she what
would run, a ton of people were there for the 1st opening of the year, luckily I live just 12 miles away, got two runs in on a track with no prepping, 1st run was
13.88@103.58 with a horrible 2.39 60 ft. 2nd pass was at 13.61@103.98
with a much better 60ft. of 2.18, all in all very happy with basically a stock car, if I was to continue racing a converter and drag radials would be first on the list along with a tranny cooler which is coming soon anyway, just wanted you all to know, thanks.

I think a converter will make you spin like crazy. It does for me. I would go with long tube headers.

You'll still be able to launch well, probably better with more power, and you be better in the 1/8 & at the end of the 1/4. (with headers).

Boise, Id is one of those tracks that the NHRA "factors" for National Records in Stock and Super Stock.

I don't have their correction number handy, but here is a correction from:

DA= 2882ft
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
13.141 @ 107.77 MPH

A 2800 to 3200 rpm converter (depending on planned future mods), along with DRs will wake that car right up.

George the DA is about right, and yes it is a NHRA track and a very nice facility, the only problem is they do the runs very slooow, so very safety conscious is the only thing that it can be or I can think of, but well run.

Just did the DA that you sent me and it came out 2738ft with a DA of
92.23%, whatever the heck all that means, thanks.

The 92.23% means that is the amount of HP you are getting to the wheels.
