I need some knowledge, If someone in the know has it.

I see discussions on this web forum about monitoring the Engine Management System for the cut back to fewer cylinders. I have an 09 G* GT and I apparently am not finding this access point. Is this something that is readily available through the info screens within the G8? I would like to see this type of data as I am driving, if it is available. I know the 09 Cevy Impalas had the data available on thei instrument panel, but the G8 is elusive.

Hold the left jog wheel down(on the steering wheel) while you start the car. It will change the DIC to display trans temp, AFM, T.P., ect

You are referring to the rotating button with the up and down arrows and the Left turn pointer, Right? One would think that somewhere, some person wouldput info like that in the manual.

Thanks.

Next question, will it restore to the normal indication, on the next start or is there a way to restore after using it?
