What are the supported resolutions of the screen in our cars...

Maybe Chris White can get us this answer.
I think it's QVGA (320x240). Then again, I might be thinking of my phone.

Adrian over at www.lsi.com.au posted up that it is QVGA (320x240) but pulling a tape doesn't match.
It is either QVGA that is strectched slightly or it is WQVGA (5:3, 400x240). Video from the iPod doesn't look overly stretched though.
reason i am asking is I was wanting to know how runing a car pc through it would work... you know if the graphics card has to be anything to support a weird resolution. Also a lot of GPS software requires 1024x768 at a minimum

It doesn't really matter because there aren't any RGB inputs. Any source you hook to the composite input will be scaled/stretched to fit the screen. If you are just wanting to create a RR skin and have it display correctly then anything that is 5:3 seems to fit best.
A car PC is one of my someday projects as well but I need a touchscreen interface. There are a couple options out there but none are cheap and or easy.
