That's not bad at all.

I was more than happy considering the mods. Next step...headers I believe.

I don't think your tuner supports headers....

Fortunately I was aware of that when I bought it and will still be able to use the same tuner on my 07 Tahoe. That's the great thing about the Superchips tuner. I was not planning on doing any further mods, but now plans may have changed. If I do the headers, I will have to get a new tune and I'm ok with that if/when it happens.

Those are great numbers!

The weather was perfect for a dyno run, especially in this area of the world. It's usually a lot more humid. If you look closely at A/F ratio, I was running a little rich on the second run which leaves room for more hp gains if I leaned it out a little more.

I won't be installing headers until fall '09 at the earliest, so in the mean time I'll be using the Superchips. Not interested in a sale, sorry.

...yet :secret:
If there are enough of us that want it, it may happen :)

That'd be bad ass.

This gives me high hopes of making 340+ whp with my NEP tune since I have essentially the same mods, since I think a custom tune would hold a slight edge over a generic tune. Suhhhweeeet :D

Good numbers! I am perplexed and puzzled as to why there are so many G8's in Texas!
Oh! After looking at a map it is very obvious! Gravity!
Texas is at the bottom of the USA and roughly centered. This explains why my car pulls to the South all the time.

I can't wait to see the difference myself. I was initially going to go with a custom tune, but liked the convenience of the handheld tuner.

Just bought a Cortex off ebay :woohoo: hopefully it will get here around the same time my vararam arrives. Hopefully the CAI specific tunes aren't far away!

You'll like it and I have exactly the same set up as thughunter. Someone already has headers with a cortex, it was reported they were very happy with that setup. It would be interesting to see the dyno results with headers as we may all be surprised by the numbers.

Hopefully that will be the case.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed
For the Cortex owners that want the header tune, you should suggest an "Off Road" tune to Superchips, never hurts to ask :)

Wow, nice numbers!
I take back everything I ever said about the superchips not being that good of a product. What was your baseline?
ThugHunter

I never got a baseline but there are enough out there to know what that would be. Approximate anyways.

Thug, I wonder what would have happened with 150 or no torque shift at all? Maybe none, just a thought
