Cheap exhaust mod (muffler delete)

I didn't have the funds for the SLP Loudmouth so I just had my local exhaust guy put in a set of pipes in place of the stock mufflers.
If only SLP would sell their exhaust tips separate and at a reasonable price...

I know every one here knows what the car sounds like in stock form but I like the before and after effect.

That's IT Bro! Thats the sound I have and love! That gurgle-pop when coming off the gas pedal generally makes Mustang GT's look straight ahead! No eye contact!

I guess I could just do that too. SLP said the car would be legal in 50 states with their set up so the car should pass emissions in it's current state right?

Remove them from the factory mufflers and reweld on new muffs or straight pipe.

Yes that is correct. I'll end up doing the same thing if I can't find a set of tips I like for the right price. Yes I'm cheap and I have a wife and two daughters so you see where my money goes.
