im taking the g8 to get dyno at a dyno dynamics here in nyc...first they are a import shop but i had a 700hp 240sx with them so were cool..they love the g8 lol..

well i know dyno dynamic dynos read accurate and i think are 15% less than a mustang dyno?i dont know really!!

i wanna make a pull what procedures should i go about before straping her up.. i know we do then run in 4th gear manual but what elso needs to be done i kow we have abs and all these sensors.. please help gurus!!

only mod is the 93 octane superchips tune thats it.lets see if this tune makes a diffrence in power ima do a stock run then superchips 93..if not satisfied the tuner will go up for grabs.. the trans tune is awesome on the superchips and i feel the power but i also want to gain it to..it suppose to add 20hp 20 tq lets see if this is tru guys i will let you know..

I'm assuming your going to do a stock pull first? Just let it eat in forth and hope its where you want it to be.

so thats it those are my numbers TOTALLY STOCK WITH THE SUPERCHIPS TUNE ONLY..it seems to run rich then lean it self out a/f was about 12.4 to 12.9 then i saw a 11.4 and 13.6 but mostly it was a upper 12s al the way ..ALSO THE ROOM SMELLED WIERD AFTER THE DYNO RUN LIKE TIRE BURN OR SOMETHAN I TRIPLED CHECK NO LEAKS ENGINE IS FINE ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS??

so for people who wants a basic setup and dont want to go that far but just a quick HANDHELD TUNER tune, axel back or catback and filter this tuner is for you i enjoyed it but im a horsepower freak and already have kooks long tubes and x pipe with cats coming ima head down to tune time to See if they can install them and do a hp tuners or purchase a remote flash from kirk

so superchips lives up to its name keep your settings around 75% tq management SO YOUR NECK WONT COME OFF YOUR SHOULDERS DOING A PULL LOL ANY MORE I WOULD BE SCARED and the 93 tune and everything superchips tune and you will have a good sneaky monster..i raced a gt2871r 240sx with mods from a roll and put 3 cars on him past 100mph...

Yeh, thats about 330 on the dynojet. Still very good and You don't even have an intake yet. Buy you a NEP OTR and it will really come alive. That will lean yours out also. Good job. May SC will come out with some more tunes later for headers, etc.

Nice... about 30 gain. Remember though it takes time for the tune settle in the engine, did you reset by disconnection the battery?

Wow, now that's where I wanted this tuner to be, a very nice gain over the stock numbers. 273/298 to 305/313, that's 32/15 gain.

Wouldn't it be grrrr8 if Superchips came out with an "Off Road" tune as suggested by another member on the board. For those wanting this, please email or call Superchips and ask. You can't get what you don't ask for ;)

yea i put it on the dyno dynamics whichs read lower..so with the 93 octane tune i got 300ish and 3teenish torque thats about 310hp 320tq with just 93 performance tune bone stock no exhaust or filter

22 wheel gain, that's more than they got out of the GTO's a couple years back. I'm still expecting more after the CAI tunes, and who know's what else Superchips has up their sleeve. I don't think they will be done after the CAI's.....

Gain was the former, for a total of 32/15 HP/TQ.

If my quick calculations are correct, that puts the L76 right on par with an LS2; ~403hp/404tq. That's also just the right intake away from GXP territory, right?
