Guys,

Here is a shot of the original prototype:

Here is a shot of one of the testing production pieces:

Notice the *integrated* quality hose barb! Perfect spot for the stock tubing!

I can't wait to get the testing finished on this!

Our G8 GT intake goes on sale here very soon! The two share very similar geometry's in the "fender" portion.

Right now with the current testing b/c we built in a nice straight way portion before the MAF not a lot of correction has been necessary for those who do not plan on running a tune. (sorry mixing in V8 stuff here).

referring to this (G8 GT version pictured):

I know the 'all silicone' look will not be for everyone, but keep in mind the heat insulating properties and the fact that it is one continuous mandrel-and-straight away based bend.

Thanks, and comments are welcome as always!

FYI....

I have this prototype on my car for testing purposes. It's only been on for a short time (less than 24 hours) and the weather hasn't been very cooperative, so I haven't had a chance to 'fully test' ;) at this point.

My typical driving includes about 70 miles/day to and from work via rural two lane paved roads, and two lane highways in Mid-Michigan.

So far, there have been no errors codes or running issues, and the throttle response seems to have improved (especially at WOT when passing).

I will continue to test this product from JeTTTstream, and let you guys know how it works out.

Also...good to know the dash hawk looks to work with our little V6's....
