Michigan tracks open next weekend!!!

So I've been staring at the "Fastest 1/4 mile times" thread and I'm playing "What If" trying to guess where I'm going to end up. This is never a good thing because you always think you could of gone faster. :)

I wanna see how fast I can go on stock tires (AS 18's). I'm really hoping to get under George's time of 12.5 I think that is attainable.

In any event, I am totally excited and cannot wait to run the car! :)

Stanton, MI - Midmichigan Motorplex opens Sunday 4/5 at 10am - That's where I'm going to go. (It's just under an hour away).

Yes, Chris absolutely. I've been waiting all damn winter to run. Yep, count me in on Saturday April 18 at 11am. (Red Bull & Parliments Lights will be my breakfast). :)

I'll probably be out of action after this weekend, and/or possibly the following (@ Norwalk), then the car will be in the shop. I plan on competing in the Holbrook Engine Super Sat. Shootout Series in the Wild Street class.

I'll probably be getting winter tires (and wheels) before I get drag radials. I know, no fun.... :hang:

I'm actually going to be at Stanton, MI not Milan, MI. I'll be making a drag strip trip down to Milan Dragway hopefully sometime before the end of April. Definitely when Jay will be there, and most likely JohnH.
