Installed these on Sunday and just got a chance to get some night pics with my real camera instead of the phone cam. Bought a 35w 6000k kit from Jettstream, and I love them! So much better at night. Also took a sweet pic of the dash doing the self test from engineering mode :) Sorry about all the pics Im bored and feel like showing the car off right now lol.

I don't think there is ever a reason to apologize about too many pics. The more photos the better. They look good. My HIDs should be here tomorrow I hope.

Looks good! It's a shame they didn't just come this way from the factory. Anyone who does alot of driving at night would really benefit from this mod. The HIDs take alot of strain off of your eyes when you are night driving.
Next we need HID fogs.

So what are you guys doing about starting the car at night? Do you guys use the remote at night always?

I've been trying to remember to turn the parking lights on before turning the key, but its not working out too well as I keep forgetting lol. And if its nighttime I just keep the lights in Auto mode anyways.

they look great!

I was looking at this kit, I think I may be picking it up... how was the install? did you have any problem with the bulbs fitting properly? I am still not sure if I want 5000k or 6000k.. I had 6000k on my GP GT but with the projectors, I'm not sure... do you have more night pics showing everything they light up? I am more concerned about losing output and what not, I loved how on my old car they were white, with a tiny tinge of blue

Install wasnt too bad, I did the passenger side without taking the wheel and fender liner off, which is technically the hard way I guess, however I didnt feel like jacking the car up and dealing with all that noise so I just made due by loosening up the fuse box behind the headlight to get it out of the way enough to work on that light. I dont have a big set of meaty man hands so I was good lol. The lights I got were very snug, one of the bulbs I actually had to dremel away a little bit of the tabs so they would slide in the housing and turn to tighten them. I think the quality control on the mold could be a little better from the bulb manufacturer, but whatever. If you buy a car like this and dont want to tinker with things, you bought the wrong car lol. Also I didnt use the harness supplied with the kit because I was running out of time, and I've only seen one time where one light didnt turn on. I'll probably install it one of these days when I have some time and feel like dealing with more wiring.

From the pics I've seen, the difference between 5000k and 6000k looks very negligible. I wanted a slight blue tinge to the lighting so I went with the 6000k. However theyre still pretty damn white. I'll try to get some better night time pics when we have some better weather this week, its supposed to be rainy :(

I definitely think I like the way yours look... so 6000k may be the way for me..
