Just wanted to post some quick pics of the tint. Just got it done today and it looks great. Started to rain as soon as I started to take the pics, so I didnt try for better ones. 20% all around. Also put some pics of the painted calipers on here to but they were taken pre-tint. Don't mind the dirt :)

Thanks I appreciate it. I think all the colors seem to tint well on our cars. I do love this color though.

You said 20% all around but the fronts looks lighter, did you not tint the front windows?

No, the front ones are not tinted. In Illinois you are not allowed to by law. Some people get away with it, but in my city the cops will give out tickets for it and make you scrape the tint off. I choose to avoid the police here at all costs so I didn't press my luck.

Even my skeptical wife, who thinks my love for cars is silly, likes the way the painted calipers look!

looks good.. I want to paint my calipers but I have to find the time to do it... as for tint, I am still waiting on my reg so I can get my new 4yr inspection sticker, then set up the appt for tint

Yeah, finding the time is tough. It took me 3 days to do my calipers because I was only able to devote a few hours after work each day to it. It took a while to do since I pulled them off and sanded them down first.

Don't get me wrong, this is my DD also.

I just:

jacked up one side of the car
pulled off a wheel
took off brakes
sanded
cleaned
painted
reassembled
touched up paint
put wheel back on
wash/rinse/repeat

I did it one at a time till it got dark and then I stopped. There were a couple of days I drove around with between 1-3 calipers painted and the others not. About half way through I was thinking this is way too much work I shouldn't have ever started. But I'm glad I did it cause it looks great.

Looks great and our cars are twins, except I am running 18's. I need to clean her up and post up some pics.
