I plan on going to PBIR (Moroso) tomorrow night (3/27) and Sunday morning April 5. Tomorrow night is test and tune, April 5 is brackets. It would be great to see a few other G8s!

Well, the glory of getting to one spot above you was short lived ... I expect you will move up this E.T. ladder preeetty far, unfortunately beyond reach for most of us! Have fun Wreck!

I can't believe I missed this thread. If I would have known, then I would have made plans. Next week I'm up for it.

Let us know how you did.

Should we make predictions?

I'm going to go conservative (there's a shock! lol), because I think he's going to have a steep learning curve on getting traction.

12.10 @ 118.5

I predict Tom needs mobile GRRRR8.net, so we don't have to wait!

Unfortunately you're both low. 12.465. Tune needs a few tweaks. Biggest issue is that it's hitting the limiter on the 1-2 shift.

Normal,Sport, or Manual?

I would of thought (if you didn't) manual would eliminate that issue.

Bummer Tom! But still not a bad initial time. I was hoping to see a high 11 your first run. Tweek and return! :)

Did you have Vectors cable to log your runs?

Best one was in Sport, manual yielded 12.5. Normal mode runs were all 12.7s. Manual mode does not shift as hard as normal, not even close, plus its just hard to hit it perfect, you either shift a bit too early or you hit the limiter most times.

Unfortunately, no. The tune was done using the shop's cable.

It puts you 8th on the list above George. I know it's not where you want to be, but you'll be moving up again.

Yea, I know. A bit disappointing but it'll get better from here.

Ugg you might of been the slowest 500+hp supercharged car there.
Are you still going Sunday??

Nothing's perfect the first time.

;)

A few tweaks and you'll be flying.

How was the traction?

Wow, really?

Were you leaving at idle or brake stalling?

Wow, really?

Were you leaving at idle or brake stalling?

I've been working on just idle take offs, and have been seeing some good results personally. Up to 111 in 12 flat, (according to video timer at least).

Tried both, a bit more spin launching from idle (nailing it, not easing in). IATs were screaming high, believe the ECM was pulling timing which would account for no traction issues. Best 60' was 1.868, all were below 2.0.

Was running 18 PSI in the MTs.

Well that was not that bad considering the DA was not exactly good (+1200). I think if you fix your rev limiter 1-2 problem and we have another cool night, then I can see you breaking the 11s.

Nice run! 12.46 is nothing to sneeze at. I'm sure it's got more in it.
