Will stock Gto rims fit a g8.... I can get one for a spare I just dont know if the bolt pattern is the same....

is it that bolt pattern thats the problem? or the offset... I believe its either a 17 or 18" rim

The bolt holes are too small

GTO bolt pattern is 5x120mm (same).
GTO uses 12mm dia x 1.5 pitch lugs ; G8 uses 14mm dia x 1.5 pitch lugs.
GTO hub dia approx 71mm ; G8 hub dia approx 67mm.

Corvette and Camaro wheels should work, at least on the rear for drags.

Just don't put the small donut on one of the rears if you have a flat.

I posted about this exact issue almost a year ago on the other board.

The 17" GTO wheel is 48 offset. The rim rubs on the strut tower brace on the front. The wheels fit fine on the rear. The bolt pattern and holes are NOT the problem. It is the 48 offset.... To use it temporarily, I put two washers on each stud and that spaced the wheel out far enough to clear on the front. This is not something one would want to do for very far as there would not be enough of the lug wrapped onto the lug bolt, but would get you to the nearest Bridgestone or Goodyear dealer.

An aftermarket GTO wheel with less offset, for instance the ones I have, work just fine. I have posted those wheels on this website in the last month. Look too small, but drive teriffic. GTO tire diameters are about 4% smaller than our tire diameters.

For real. Try a Camaro SS or WS6 rim. 50 mm offset, 5 X 4.75.
