Aight, so here's my version of the Omega sloping console trim mod. Nothing super special except my 'custom' upper trim piece. Dremels = win!

Something funny i found during this install was the unused 12v connector under the rear part of the middle console for the ashtray.

Thanks to Crazy Paul for tolerating my n00b questions! :D

Very, very nice look! I know this is what I want to do as well. Love the sloped stack trim/cubby fascia.

Was this Crazy Pauls deal 31B? That's what it appears, except that deal doesn't appear to come with the cubby fascia, or does it?

It's Kit 31B minus the HSV Non MRC blanking plate (not required).

31A replaces the old doorless Pontiac cubby, with a curved door full sized cubby, but no 12V outlet.
31B replaces the old doorless Pontiac cubby, with a Holden Front and Rear Smokers pack. You get 12V front and rear, and doors.

31 B looks like this.

Front, smokers pack with door open

Ditto, although having an extra 12V in the rear would be nice.

HSV Non MRC blanking plate

Couldnt actually figure out what that part was for :P

Thanks for the comments :) It was not too hard to do this mod. I had fun with it. If anyone needs help with it, feel free to pm me :)

You only need the HSV Non-MRC blanking plate if you buy the HSV triple pod.
The HSV pod has an empty rectangle on the right hand side.
This is where the extra part (Non-MRC blanking plate)...aka Worlds most expensive square inch of plastic lives.

HSV triple pod (as purchased)

Non MRC plate.(extra part at extra cost to pod)

The HSV cars all get the triple pod.
Not all the cars in the range are fitted with Magnetic Ride Control.

When they are MRC equipped then the switch for MRC gets fitted in that little rectangular window on the right side of the pod.
Like this.

It's a simple concept Bob, you get what you pay for.

A $30k car won't have all the possible toys fitted.
