Received my LT's and have a few questions about install.

1. Should I replace the stock manifold bolts with new headers bolts?
(I did not see any new bolts in the box)

2. If I do use new header bolts, are SS bolts OK or should I just get chrome-moly or other? I know some metals do not do well together, are SS and Aluminum OK?

3. Should I use some kind of lock-tite on the header/manifold bolts?
Which one?

4. Lastly, what thread are the manifold/headers bolts? 8mmx1.25?
And what is the recomended ft/lbs for tightening the bolts?

Thanks,
John

Use the stock bolts. Tighten from the center out to 30ft lbs. Make sure you install X pipe and exhaust 1st and then torque headers.

Get the clearance from the cross brace before tightening down the headers completely.

I have to agree with above statements we don't use lock-tite on header bolts
