Put the Kooks 1 7/8'' headers, 3'' catted x pipe, and Gen II mufflers on the car, with an 25% powerbond underdrive. Wow...

The exhaust sounds great, no twang, very nice rumble growl down low. Up top it sounds absolutely amazing. The only time I hear drone is between 60 and 70 mph. depending on the grade you are going up ect, it can kick back between dod mode and regular. That you can hear. Other than that, nothing I can't live with! Great job kooks!!!

Also, the powerbond was top notch quality.

Update, the car did not like the 87 octane, finally got all of it out and put 93 in it. Wow, huge power difference, the car is a blast to drive and those are the only mods. I can't wait till the tune/intake/tb :woohoo:

I think, as well as others, that it is the perfect exhaust setup for the car.:)

I plan on it! It takes about 300 miles for the check engine light to come on... At least, that is what has been reflected on my car. Time to turn off those rear o2's!

How do you turn off the rear o2's? I've had my check engine light on for about 2 weeks now. I mean its not bugging me but eventually it has to go off for inspection.

Someone from Texas needs to answer that question.

On a 04 GP I had, we had the same problem. If you turn them off, it gets reported during an ODB II emissions test and you fail. We found that if you left them on but told them not to report it passed the test. Maybe G8 are the same.

Sorry I haven't responded. I will get some sound clips eventually. I need to find a friend with a decent vid camera so I can. I am still in love with the way it sounds.

No track numbers, but i did effectively ruin a c6 m6 z51 vette owner's day from a dig till 80 where I shut down. He was at my rear bumper. Yes he could drive, yes he was racing. It's running hard.
