just curious, you are running quite the setup now. any oils that you stay away from?

I usually use Mobil 1 in everyday cars and Royal Purple in Performance cars. I have been doing some testing on german spec oils like 0w40 in some turbo cars that had consumption issues and the issue stopped I may try this is the future just as a test. Whatever the oil cap says i use in most cases as it makes the most HP and MPGs, in most cases.

right on, so would you recommend mobil 1 for a DD gt, or RP for a DD gt? im deciding which way to go on my next change. i know its been beat to death, but i hear more negatives on mob1 than rp. i like the rp so far as well. thanks!

Royal Purple! Greg @ Pace Performance has a good deal for members on a oil change kit with RP.

Sweet! Thats what i wanted to hear!! i paid a ridiculous amount for a change at a chevron station, but his deal is killer. good to hear your word on the Mob1 vs RP debate. settled in my mind lol. thanks dude!

I did mobil one and the chevy dealership charger me 79 bucks... no to bad.

Yes, but it doesn't stay purple for long once you put it in.

The only good thing about Royal Perp. is that it has a 37% MD 2020 content. If your car breaks down you can lay down under the crankcase and get fried. :nah:
