Having personally never seen a V6 engine cover i thought your drinks led you to cut the shape of the heart in the covers! At least it looks like that in the first pic.

Great Job! What types of paint did you use? Any special preparation needed? Please post this as a DIY project. Thanks

Lookin real good! Great use of the colors to offset each other.

I have a GT and the first thing to come off (Same day as I picked it up from the dealership, actually) was the V8 engine cover. The V6 one seems to have a better look to it, and you really accented it well by your color choices.

I went with the 6.0L Holden fuel rail covers direct from Australia for mine. Just painted and installed them this past weekend, actually.

Great job!

Hey OP -- I just noticed

Did you also paint your RHS fuse panel cover white as well?

Looks good... :headbang:

Looks nice. I thought about doing it in red and grey for my PBM V6.
If FL G82 thinks an unpainted engine cover looks cute I wonder what he would think about this. If it had a CAI on it he might go blind.

(FL-- just kidding around. Don't go postal.)

I didn't want anything that was too much trouble. Just a little red along with the G8 decal on the rad cover. Painted the battery connect the same color red.
