Does anyone know if the factory subs can be swaped out for aftermarket subs using original amps

I havent seen it done yet, but they are doing some pretty trick shit adding subs.

yes... the factory ap is way more powerful than the stock subs need. However you are going to have a problem trying to find 8 inch subs designed for a free air application. A better bet is to just add a 15 or a couple of 12s or 3 10s in a sealed box in the trunk. Not only will it sound better... bigger subs hit lower, but it will also bring your fron to rear weight ratio to 50/50

Combine that with removing the stock intake and replacing it with an aftermarket CAI, removing the engine cover, removing the plenum cover and foam insulator, replacing the exhaust manifolds, cats, center muffler and resonators with the ARH system, you should be at 49/51 or damn close to it.
