So you unbolt the stockers and bolt up the BMR units? No pressing of bushings?

Easy Peasy lemon squeezy?

The bushings are already in the arms, just bolt them up and grease'em.

Correct. There is a little grunting involved, but easy to do.

Cool! I may get a pair... Maybe it'll help the flex I get out back. I already have the subframe bushings installed.

Is it just me or do the BMR trailing arms make the rear sit a little higher?

I put mine on this morning and Tiggers ass just looks higher. Could be because of the wheels, but I'm not sure. Look at pics in Tiggers spring changes thread with winter wheels and then the summers.

You are overdue for some mods!

You saw my Fiance's mod right? I also redid my two spare bedrooms. New doors, carpet, removed wall paper, painted, framed out the windows and put on new base boards... Also replace the master baths vanity, flooring, trim, lighting, mirror, and shower door.

THAT was 5000 worth of mods ring not included... :hang:

lol

I want high flow cats and some pedders work... We'll see... I think the Plasma TV is coming first though.

The suspension just needs to settle. Especially if the bolts were torqued with the suspension hanging.

I did torque them that way...so that would be it then. Thanks Charlie!

Not knowing much about the effect of car suspension improvements, what's your reason for recommending these Charlie? (on a bike, the swingarm design can bring dramatic improvement to handling, especially at very high speed).

I believe it helps reduce wheel hop and keeps everything back there from moving around so much.

What he said ;) should provide a slightly better hook up at the track

I'm not sold on the frame braces though. Anyone REALLY notice a difference with them? I mean REALLY?

With the HP numbers I'm putting down. 150 or so... lol I don't think they are necessary. Thoughts?

They do take the twist out of the car. I noticed an instant firmness when pulling up inclines at an angle.

I just tried to order some from bmr and they were out of stock. Does anyone else stock them for the g8? Charlie is correct, you should always tighten after you set the car on the ground.

OK I got these installed. Took about 1.5 hours including lifting, and removal and install of wheels. Pretty easy but keep in mid you have to push and tweak to get the holes to line up. It's not for the weak...

While I was in there I cleaned the suspension off with a bit of Adams All Purpose Cleaner.

It's going to Modern Muscle here soon for the Pedders install so I wanted it clean for them... lol

These are WELL put together and fit without a hitch. I went with the hammered metal look and the finish was beautiful. HIGHLY recommended.

I did get mine, but, didn't get them installed before I went back to the track. I didn't hook as usual and I'll definetly have them on before Memphis next weekend.

I just need the bushings on the rear hub assembly replaced to utilize these completely. It's only for the bling factor right now. lol Like you can see them... I did a brake torque after install and something moved because it made a noise. I am guessing it was just the slop that may have been in it.
