IMO its pointless to modify a lease unless you plan on buying the car at the end of the lease. Otherwise the money spent on mods is a waste.

IMO you can do with your money what you want. Mine is leased as well but I WILL probably buy it out of its lease at the end. Hell it'll be worth nearly nothing. Might as well. Mine is my company car and I have about 2 grand in it now. I have NO payment so 2 grand is cheap IMO.

CAI and Tune. Then headers/xpipe/mufflers(if you want louder). Some people do underdrive pulleys as well. Also might want to try search tons of good info on here.

you could go with the superchips tuner, cai and axelbacks. would be a good set up for a lease vehicle.

I agree.

If you are leasing and not buying but want something more out of it. Then this is the setup I would do.

I think I would have to agree with this, as the stock components can be retained, and the car put back to stock if you give it back.
GRRRR8 bang for the buck on these mods too. Tint is the only other must have for me.

I second that. That's exactly what I did on mine, which isn't a lease. The gains were night and day with the Superchips Cortex tuner. This mod alone ($350) should at minimum be done on every G8 GT, lease or not.

Add a TVS 2300 as your ONLY mod. This way you can easily remove it and sell it if you choose to.

If you go with the TVS 2300, I'll bet you'll end up buying out your lease.:)

There's an easier alternative to buying/installing a maggie. It's called running on the jug. Tune for a 150 shot and spray away. Easier to remove if you decide to sell.

This is what I'm doing on my car (on lease as well). Have the CAI and tune (Superchips), and I'm going to get a set of axlebacks here soon as well.

What did you decide Mike?

So what ARE you guys seeing with a Superchips tune? What response change is noted and is the fuel mileage affected. Which CAI are you guys running with that Chips setup?

Someone define the TVS 2300, please.

I would simply put the TVS 1900 supercharger on it. Save all of your stock stuff. When the lease is up you can make it stock again and sell the TVS 1900.

TVS 1900 = Bad Ass, super reliably positive displacement blower system.

TVS 2300 = Bigger Bad Ass, super reliably positive displacement blower system. :)

It looks like this.
