started to add a few suspension parts.I ordered the strut tower brace and trailing arms in black hammertone. They looked great in that finish, but the trailing arms would stand out,as they looked stock so i painted them chevy orange and now they look great with my car color.I did leave the strut tower brace in the blackhammertone, which looks good.I do feel a difference with the pieces, some.Question, will 17in. rims fit with the trailing arms?doesn't look like to much room there with my 18's.anybody have this setup?was looking to do 17's for the track

I am running 17 x 9.5s and there is a little under a 1/4 inch between arm and wheel. Ita all moves together so there is no issue.

If you can do the lower control arms, you should have no issues doing the Pedders rear cradle bushes. They are far more important than the rear trailing arm bushings and easier to install. Do not get me wrong, however. Upgrading the bushings in the back end is a real good thing to do. Its just the rear cradle has serious movement and should be considered one of the first suspension mods you should do

GRRRR8 and all others with much more experience than myself,

I'm looking at their driveshaft tunnel brace and sub frame connectors as well as the trailing arms for my GXP, good move on my part or am I fine with the FE3 setup? I've already decided yes on the strut tower brace. If all components are worth it I may take the deal they're offering. Thanks.

rear cradle bushings
rear differential bushings

Can you get me a price on these? I am doing the trailing arms... anything else in the rear that makes sence to do why I have it apart?

I am still waiting to sort out how much we really need the subframe connectors...Mike, what are your thoughts?

Crap guys, if you do NOTHING ELSE, do the rear sub-frame bushes. It is a DIY and you will feel the difference the first hard corner you take.

STB should be way at the end of the line.
Diff bushes and Radius rod bushes with caster washers should be next. These and the x-member bushes will make the biggest improvement for the dollar you can do to the G8.

If anybody is near DC / No VA and wants to try it, let me know.

Well worth the investment. Add the Pedders rear sub bushings and diff bushings and you are good to go.

STB shouldn't even be considered unless you are wanting cosmetic appeal

It happens and when members do it it is overlooked as a "no-biggie". When vendors do it is when I have to say something. Shit happens, but when you are a vendor it can be construed as "causing drama" and God knows I am so done with that.........I hope!
