Were discussing the possibility of adding a couple of sub forums. One would be for Software, like HP Tuners, and a sub forum for you guys to discuss you hand held tuners.
What do you think?

I think that's a great idea. It would clean up the "clutter" in here quite a bit.

Great idea. I would enjoy going to the Cortex forum to see latest updates and such.

Yeah, I think that would be a great idea. Would reduce the clutter, and those custom tune guys won't get inundated with our Superchips/other hand held tune threads. :)

Why not. The worst that could happen would be no posts. I'm sorta in tuning limbo right now, But I will be getting back in shortly.

I will say that I'm not sure how many are actually doing their own tunning. Maybe a poll is in order to see what people are using.

If there isn't much interest, why bother. Everyone can search for data. With the amount of Cortex handhelds being sold, there are quite a few threads.
The HP Tuners would like to be able to find their threads as well.
It was my idea, with support from the other mods and admin.
I'd like to see if the GRRRR8 community is going to support it as well.

I think it's a GRRRR8 idea.

I think at the very least it would be nice to see a few sub-forums
1. Cortex
2. VMS
3. HP Tuners

Seems to be the most discussion about the 1st 2 and with the new VMS cable system I think there will be more and more discussion in this thread.

Tuning these cars is the best mod in my opinion, so to break them down into sub forums would make a lot of sense. On the other hand, a lot of recent posts reference the Cortex has been related to the anticipation of the 93 octane tune. Once that hits today or tomorrow, the hype will fade as people won't be checking for the word from SRG963 about it being available.

I tend to agree with you, with some exceptions. The discussion has really been relative to a couple threads. As you guys start really learning these tuners, you'll be providing support to the new people. So as is the usual custom, people won't seach and a new thread will be created. :)

Similar to what a lot of Vector customers do.
I had intended on moving the Superchips threads to their own forum, but we didn't have one! LOL

Yes good idea.

1. General Tuning
Then specific sub forums by Brand/Vendor
