Open headers with X installed only.

Its horrible in my opinion, but I knew it would as a cam like that has to have a Flowmaster style muffler to sound good. The video will be up in a liitle while.

I know I'm probably going to get :hang: for saying this, but I like the sound of ITBFAST with the stock mufflers. But I agree either the GXP muffs or some more aggressive sounding mufflers would be best.

But for me, I could handle the quieter exhaust sound, except for when you nail it at WOT. For my cam set up, I think the stock mufflers will work for me. Unless I can get my hands on some GXP mufflers.

Well guys I went on my lunch break to see ITBFST, I mean charlie and the car sounds amazingly quiet.Those stock muffs are doing a great job at keeping it stealthy. I know that's not what charlie wants. It almost sounds stock at idle!

They sound really good! Do they make it in a offset in center out 13 inches long is the question. We have limited space, so the muffler length is fairly critical.

Yeah those Hookers do sound great, I'll bet the Borla's sound pretty similar. I love the way mine sound when I get on it, they are deep and throaty sounding, with no rasp when I let off.

Fbodies exhaust will NOT sound anything like a G8 no matter which setup they have. That one especially, being as it's a Ypipe car with 1in2out muffler.

Same muffler doesn't mean same sound, that's why a G8 doesn't sound like a Cobra just because they both have "Flows"

True. Cubic inches and many other things effect sound. I think any car with a wild cam sounds best with a box style muffler.

I do as well. I have them on my TA's true duals, they're not too loud @ idle, quieter than most CBs but at WOT....I hear they're insanely loud :devil: I'm still waiting for someone to get ballsy with their G8 and throw LT's, ORX, and bullets (all 3") on. Betting it sounds incredible. My wife won't let me do it to ours, so that's why I have to resort to rooting for someone else to do it.
