Can someone run a CarFax for me on this vin...

Is it a private party? If it's a dealer ask them to run the carfax report. Almost everyone here would have to pay for that.

You can get a minimum amount of info from CarFax for free.

It says this is a 1997 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28
with only four records in the database, but no way to tell
what they are without $$$.

That is not very many items for a 12 year old car.
There is usually a record for every time the car is bought/sold, inspected,
in an accident, etc.

It is a private party. Should be 2 owners. If someone on the forum has a carfax account they could run it at now charge.

That's the car. Its for my son.
