Need 12v switched in trunk area.

Hiya folks,

Yes, I know that the 4 prong/3 wire plug above the amp is supposed to give 12v switched. But not in my car. In fact, after 4 hours in the trunk (ow!) with a volt/ohm meter, I can find NO 12v switched anywhere. :shf:

Any hints? I gotta have this for the electric cutouts which are just under the spare tire well.

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having a similar problem. Although, I have located the plug above the amp and did confirm that it provided (at one time) 12v with the key turned, that is no longer the case. After attempting to wire the switch from a car pc to the plug, I am convinced I short-circuited the wire and need to replace the fuse.

That's my problem - where is the fuse for the Rear Object Sensor plug?

I checked all three fuse boxes (engine, under dash and the one in the trunk) and could not find one with a description that seemed to be associated with this power supply. Anyone know?

Mine wasn't switched either. I ran a wire up front.
