View Full Version : superchips beta program for window vista

I was on another car forum site and the superchips sponser sent this beta program for the guys using window vista since there programmer has the same problem. i wonder will this work for us? I'm hate using my old desktop and like to put this program onto my laptop. here is the beta program any info would be good on this. I don't know if anyone post this already.

Downloading and testing it now. Running Windows7 Beta right now, but it's much the same as Vista.

Well the updater is working, but since I'm using Windows 7, it seems it couldn't install the USB drivers for the Cortex. :)


Otherwise, looks like this should work fine!

thanks for testing it out. i'm going to try it myself, so i can put my desktop back in the attic.lol

okay i just test the beta program and it work. plus i was able to update my cortex when plugged into my laptop. I also plugged it in my car to make sure all my settings were there plus my stock setting. so if you have window vista this program will work.

worked for me as well. did some sort of software update gonna plug it into the car now and see what I got.

UPDATE, Well everything worked fine and it still have my orinigal factory base tune. Gets my :thumbsup:

Had to manually install the USB driver in Windows 7 Beta, but I can confirm it works there as well.

64 bit Vista Ultimate. Works a charm. One less reason to dual-boot xp / vista. Now if only I could get Homeworld 2 functioning on Vista I could free up an extra 20 gigs lol
