My gym buddy's new friend from work just got a new G8 GT with a little over 500 miles on the clock. I met him a few times before and I gave him a ride in mine. It's funny cuz he's got a brooklyn accent. I believe his words were "Jesus christ! It felt like a fuckin fat fuck was sittin on my fuckin chest!" LOL!!! Tonight he let me drive his. First thing was he started it and OMFG! I can't believe it was once that quiet lol. We get in and he takes off. He's asking me all these questions about the shift modes and everything. Then he asks if I would like to drive and show him some stuff. Of corse I was like  I get behind the wheel showing him how sport mode and manual mode works. Then I showed him were to downshift to get into the powerband from a roll, then punched it. Him and my friend in the back seat were planted! He couldn't stop laughing and going "holy shit, I didn't know my car could do dat!" He wants to do some modding, CAI and tune first of corse and I'll help him with that and from there. My impressions from going back to stock are this...
I am still impressed with the power and performance of this car bone stock. Pulled very well especially with 3 people in the car. Mines faster of corse ;) And believe it or not, I enjoyed the smoothness and quietness of it. Reminded me of when I just bought my baby. The first and biggest thing I noticed is how messed up my steering is. His was so tight and aligned and felt so nice. Mine feels loose now, the steering wheel will wobble from time to time and makes quick little grinding noises when cold. Gotta get that fixed. Bottom line is, these cars are bad ass, stock or modded.

did you let him drive a modified one to really get him itching for more power?

Sweet...another G8ter!

I just got this car sideways on the street again last night. It my new thing when there are no cops or car turning. And my car is bone stock for now. I love this car.

Not yet but it's coming. My car has absolutely no traction. you hit it from a roll or from a stop, the tires just break loose and spin.
