Did anyone see the Power block today? My PVR cut off the beginning but I saw a red G8 with what looked to be a window on the hood like the ZR-1. LS9 maybe???

yeah, I was just coming on to post about that. it was hooked up to a boat too, that was a little weird.

G8 On Spike
This morning I was watching PowerBlock on Spike and I saw some crazy ass package they had for a G8. It was a liquid red GT it looked like with some aftermarket rims that was towing a custom boat. The boat was painted to match the G8 and the trailer wheels were the same as the 8's. It was very interesting. I also noticed on the 8's hood there was a black "shaker" type scoop I want to say (didnt get that great of a look). Anyone have more info on this? I caught it at the end of the showing. It was defiantly sweet though. The 8 looked great and it was nice to see it getting some mainstream solid advertising for a change.


I JUST posted this like 15 minutes after you on the other Lounge above lol. It looked sweet, good detail work, not to mention that boat was pretty bad ass also

I can do that! I got some plexiglass, a sawzall and some chrome trim left over from my 1976 Buick. Now all I need is Courtney to help with my thingy. :p

I just watched it again on my DVR and I noticed the exhaust is coming out of the quarter panels. Thats a cool look, cant believe I missed that the first time. Anyone done this? Would anyone? I dont know how practical that would be with a DD car, it would probably ruin the paint and stuff after some time. Thoughts? Also that pinstripe is sweet too

The pin stripe was kinda cool but it looks like they painted the area around the fender light the same color as the stripe, looks like they were trying to tie it in with the rims.. Looks pretty good to me. Would look even better if it was MGM!! :nah:

I just looked at the video, watching for the exhaust.... that is horrendous!! whoever thought of that needs a nail gun to the head... he probably was fired from a NOPI design sponsor

They have the exhaust like that because the boat's exhaust is like that. A lot of HP boats have that type design. I'd like to know if they used an AUSSIE CLASS III equivalent hitch to utilize the stock bumper cutout (at least I assume that is what that is there for)
