New to the Forum, a lot of great info here. I just bought a G8 GT in January 2016. I mounted front and rear-view (back-up) cameras which is working great so far. I had the front camera powering from F41 (Ignition On) in the under hood fuse block. It worked for about an hour then quit. No power from that location anymore. I can't figure where it gets power from. There was a similar question back in 2008 for same problem, no one ever answered it. I'm trying to figure out what fuse, relay, breaker maybe powering that location. I looked at several wiring diagrams, have not figured it our since F41 is not used. Thanks

Do you have these hooked up to a relay and are pulling power to the relay in the harness to the cameras or ?

Using a junkyard fuseblock that I have and an ohm meter I was able to figure out that F41 (along with F42 & F43) is powered by R18, which is the parking light relay. Try turning your lights on and see if you have power again.

I discovered the issue and you are correct, F41 is powered while the parking lights or headlights are on. The lights were auto on while I was searching for power in the fuse box. I am going to leave it that way for now and utilize the headlight switch to power the front camera. Both cameras are wired to 12V with an inline fuse. I don't expect them to be drawing much current. The rear camera is powered by the reverse lights. Thanks for the replies.
