As stated, my dash light, instrument panel lights, whatever you wanna call them, will not brighten up. My aftermarket stereo will not dim with headlights turned to on anymore either.
started the other day when on my way to work. Wanted the lights dimmer, so I pressed the button light twice to dim them down a bit. later in the drive I decided to brighten them back up. No Bueno. the + button does nothing. Also my aftermarket Pioneer stereo that used to dim every time the auto lights decided to come on or with the knob turned to headlights on, will not dim at all now. IDK what may have happened.
bad dimmer switch?? blown fues??( I have no idea which fuse controls that . still searching).
any ideas. It's not a crazy bad thing. just more annoying than anything else. especially since Virginia likes to put the inspection sticker right in the middle of the windshield at the bottom. which makes a shadow over the Auto light sensor, which makes them come on ALL the damn time. ugg frustrating. Especially when you cannot see the digital speedo or really anything in teh DIC right now. plus the Atari gauges dim also, which I cannot see at all hardly when the sun starts coming up.
