You get a steering wheel shroud with both paddle shifter's epoxied in and set to the correct resistance to tell your BCM to shift. I will also provide further Instructions on how to install. in a write up form. This doesn't change how fast the car shifts it just adds the ability to shift from the steering wheel.

$250 Pricing Includes shipping.

$50 shipped?

Parts are more than double that after shipping and these are brand new. took them out to make a set! everything has been tested and fitted to ensure they are good to go.

Hi,
I have a 2013 Caprice 9C1 and would like to know if this kit works on the car? It doesn't have the tap shifter. Is there a way to wire into the BCM to add the tap shift function and use the paddle shifter?
Thanks,
Jeff

The 9C3 has tap-a-shift capability, and a 9C1owner has rigged a switch box on his 'console' to do that, so theoretically, the option should be programmed in the BCM, just not enabled in the shifter. The guy who did it hasn't provided details yet, but there is some speculation about it on the New Caprice forum. The shroud should fit, or the factory unit should be able to be modified to work. That would be an interesting project, since the 'low' gear setting on the Caprice shifter merely limits the transmission to the first three gears.

I'm in the middle of swapping a G8 shifter and console into my 2013 9C1. Had to modify the shifter to go into low and not go into tap shift. Also using the 9C1 shifter harness and sport button. Here is a link:

I noticed that the transmission has two more positions below Low. Does anyone know if that's 1st and 2nd?
