I am considering these two wheels for my MGM GT. One has rivets the other doesn't..

Anyone with any photo shop skills out there!!?? :)

Both look nice. I think I've seen a member or two with those HP wheels on their G8. Looked good.

The HP's look similar to my winter wheels. Here are pics of my winters which are 17's

Issue with Snetterton's is that front lip is only 1" while rear is 2 1/2" , in part because fronts are 8" width. I have been researching this to death for months! (Wife wants to kill me!)

If you want a bit more lip, Beyern Mesh have 1 1/2" fronts and 2 1/2 rear for about $100. more for 4. Discount Tire seems to have the best price on TSW products at the moment.

I ordered a set of staggered Breyton Race CS (silver W/ Machined lip) from TireRack(Mason Rush) last night.

Front lip is 67mm. and rear is 77mm. An inch is approximately 26.5 mm. Rears will have 275 050A's. Should have pix to post by sometime next week.

I like the HP's but the rivets have been over done IMO.

Do you want to stick with the stock 19" size? You have more choices with 18" wheels.

and you can see them on the car threw the Tirerack website :)

Oh, and I like the TSW's

Those TSW's are what I'm looking at in 20's. Nice.

Im probably gonna go with a 20" staggered setup.

I contacted HP Designs for a list of retailers but havent heard back from them yet.

Just talked to Dwayne over at HP and the 20" Lightnings are $295 each. But if u work him a little he will go lower. He said that all the wheels that are 8.5 wide have a 38 offset and the 10" have a 40 offset.

Should look pretty sweet!!

You may have clearance issues with a 10" wide wheel and 40 offset depending on the brand of tire. What are you thinking of running? If they're available at TireRack, the spec.s page for tire # can give you a better idea on fitment.

I'm trying hard as hell not to purchase these. 19X8 40mm offset front, 19X9.5 rear 45mm offset and just purchase 2 new rear tires, cause that's all I need.

Please talk me out of this!!!!! It's a leased car, but sure would look nice.....

I havent even started looking at tires.. I have run Nitto 555's and Falken 452's on my last 3 vehicles. The widest was my X-Runner with 265/35/20's.. I was actually wondering if that 20x10 with a 40 offset would have rubbing issues..

I dont even know if those tires will work on such a heavy vehicle.. Thanks for the headache.. :)

I like the TSW look. They look just like the Fikse Profil 10s.

What do the TSW cost? How much do they weigh?

I know it would look GRRRR8! If I knew how much they weighed, I might have bought them by now. I'm going to call DT and see about the weight.

19's are 200 both widths

I think 18's are 180 and 20's were 225 or something

I wish i could find some 20x9 rims to go all the way around so that i could save a few dollars on tires. (rotating) :)

The weight is 30 pounds each shipped in the box.

So the rims are less than 29 pounds, and that's the 9.5" high offsets.

We may have a winner folks....

They are now discontinued on TSW's website.... That's why they are less than $200. ea. on Discount's site.

I thought about them also....Think they would look great. They have about 1/2 the spokes that my Beyern Multi's (a division of TSW) have.

The boxes these come in are very heavy duty and have inserts for wheel protection. My 8.5 x 19" Beyern's weighed almost exactly the same as the stock Sport wheels which are made by Enkei.

The TSW's in same size would weigh about the same. 9.5 rears add no more than 2 lbs. However, wider tires are also heavier. My rears total were about 4 lbs more, or 8 extra lbs. for cool wheels.
